A man was found badly beaten on a sidewalk near the Beaverton Transit Center on Tuesday, Aug. 4, and nine days later, police still have no suspect.
Beaverton Police officers discovered the man lying near Southwest Lombard Avenue and Southwest Canyon Road at about 6:30 a.m., according to The Oregonian. He had suffered "significant" head injuries and was taken to a hospital, KPTV reported.
Surveillance video allowed detectives to narrow the attack to sometime between 1:50 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Aug. 4. That means the victim lay on the sidewalk for at least 90 minutes before officers arrived.
No suspect description has been released. Police have not identified the victim publicly or provided an update on his condition.

Investigators are asking anyone who passed through the shopping center near Big 5 Sporting Goods or the Beaverton Transit Center during those early morning hours on Aug. 4 to contact Detective Madalyn Brown.
The transit center, a busy TriMet hub at Canyon Road and Lombard Avenue, sits in central Beaverton. Police are hoping that commuters, transit riders or anyone passing through the area between roughly 2 and 5 a.m. may have seen something useful.
Second violent crime that morning
The assault was one of two violent incidents Beaverton police responded to on Aug. 4. At approximately 5:15 a.m., officers were called to a stabbing near Southwest 107th Avenue and Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, where a 30-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries, the Beaverton Valley Times reported.
Police have not linked the two cases.
