Beaverton City Library staff are taking storytimes, crafts, and family activities directly to neighborhood parks on July 1–2. All four events are free, open to all ages, and require no registration.

- Wednesday, July 1 — Wonderland Park (6400 SW King Blvd), 10:30 a.m.
- Thursday, July 2 — Camille Park (10299 SW Marjorie Ln), 10:30 a.m.
- Thursday, July 2 — Beaverton City Park (12500 SW 4th St), 11:00 a.m.
- Thursday, July 2 — Bookmobile Evie at Merlo Station Apartments (2032 SW Merlo Ct), noon
The park visits are part of the library's summer outreach program, which sends staff to THPRD parks while the bookmobile Evie makes recurring stops at apartment complexes. The library's Summer Reading Program also runs through Saturday, August 15 — kids and teens who read 15 hours earn a free book, and adult reading hours generate donations to local nonprofit Community Partners for Affordable Housing.
