Hoffman Farms Store on Scholls Ferry Road is selling more than 50 varieties of pumpkins this fall, alongside a 10-acre corn maze, train rides and apple cider donuts.

The Beaverton farm at 22242 S.W. Scholls Ferry Road is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday with free admission, according to the farm's website. Corn maze tickets cost $6 for guests ages 3 and up, with final entry at 4:15 p.m. Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

A ride on the Hoffman Farms Express train costs $5 per ticket, purchased at the farm store registers. The train is wheelchair accessible via a ramp on the caboose car. Lap infants under age 1 ride free.

The farm, which the Valley Times described as representing "six generations of farming tradition," also hosts live music on Saturdays and Sundays in October. A barbecue food truck serves lunch Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Barn Door Brewing pours local beer, wine and cider on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for guests 21 and over.

Hoffman Farms Store's Mountainside Fall Market, which opened Sunday, continues through Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Several other Washington County farms are also open for the season.

Scholls Ferry Farm at 23400 S.W. Scholls Ferry Road in Hillsboro offers free admission and a self-serve u-pick pumpkin field open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the farm's website. Orange pumpkins run 50 cents per pound, specialty varieties 80 cents per pound and minis $1 each. A corn maze and hay wagon rides cost $5 apiece. Dogs on leashes are welcome.

Papa's Pumpkin Patch at Wachlin Farms, 20345 S.W. Scholls-Sherwood Road in Sherwood, is a 50-acre spread with dozens of pumpkin and squash varieties and free admission, according to the Valley Times. Bob Wachlin started the patch during high school to earn money for his first pickup truck. The farm is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Saturday hours were not listed; check wachlinfarms.com for updates. The patch is pet-friendly.

Lee Farms at 21975 S.W. 65th Ave. in Tualatin charges $7.95 Monday through Wednesday and $14.95 Thursday through Sunday, with free entry for infants under 1. The farm offers u-pick pumpkins, a corn maze, hayrides, farm animals and apple cider donuts. Wristbands unlock unlimited access to slides, barrel wagon rides, hay mazes and jump pads. Hours run 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Friday, Oct. 30, with a 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. close on Saturday, Oct. 31.
