Five seniors from Beaverton High and Westview High will play college men's lacrosse next year, according to a statewide survey.
Westview produced four of the five commits. Seon Herring is headed to William Penn University, Caleb Hoyt to Concordia University Irvine, Ryker Mohler to Western Oregon University, and Bhavnish Tarigopula to Oregon State University, where the program competes at the club level in the MCLA.
Beaverton High's lone representative is goalie Liam McDonald, who committed to Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, in December 2025. McDonald also plays club lacrosse for True Lacrosse programs in Calgary and Oregon.
When Drury University announced the commitment on Thursday, December 11, 2025, a program coach called McDonald "a great kid" and "hard working student" who would be "a great addition to our goalie lineup."
The five local players are part of a 28-player statewide list of Oregon seniors headed to college men's lacrosse, compiled by OregonLive reporter Dan Brood. That list is part of a broader survey identifying more than 1,400 Oregon high school graduates committed to compete in college athletics across all sports.
Westview's graduation ceremony took place Thursday, June 4, and Beaverton High's on Friday, June 5, at Portland State's Viking Pavilion. Brood's list will continue to be updated through the summer.
