Downtown Beaverton hosts a Stranger Things-themed night market later this month, featuring a haunted maze, costume contest and local vendors.
The Beaverton Downtown Association is putting on the Everything Funky: Stranger Things Night Market from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at 12375 SW 5th St. Admission is free.
The association's dedicated event page, published Sept. 30, lists the date as Saturday, Oct. 24. However, the association's series overview page lists the Stranger Things edition as Oct. 10. Residents should check the association's website to confirm the date before heading out.
The event is part of the Everything Funky Neighborhood Night Market series, a recurring outdoor evening market that rotates themes throughout the year. The October edition draws on the Netflix show's spooky aesthetic.
Families can browse local vendors selling handmade goods, boutique items, art and vintage finds. Food trucks and live music are also on the lineup. Kids can paint pumpkins, and anyone brave enough can walk through a haunted maze. Raffle prizes will be given away throughout the evening.
A costume contest kicks off at 7 p.m. Kids, teens, adults and families can compete for prizes.
The Everything Funky series is the newest of three separate evening markets operating in downtown Beaverton. A community blog post from November 2025 described it as smaller by design, focused on local vendors and family-friendly entertainment rather than the cultural-showcase format of the city's other night markets.
The next Everything Funky event after October is the Harvest & Holiday Night Market on Saturday, Nov. 14, also from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at the same location.
